2021 Year End Wrap Up!

It’s the end of the year and time for our yearly wrap up. While travel was very much restricted to domestic destinations in 2020, more destinations opened up in 2021. As more travelers took to the skies, land and sea, our clients took trips to the National Parks, Colombia, Mexico and more.

Once again Mexico led the pack in travel as it offered unlimited options for nonstop flights, affordability and a variety of accommodations. The U.S. was the next popular spot as clients ventured off to Florida and New Orleans. Travel further afar was stifled a bit as the US waited for Europe to open, but that will change in 2022 as travelers get used to the ever changing restrictions.

Escape to Newport

This year we introduced our Socially Distanced Event Escape to Newport and the Boston Wine Meetup Group , both of which proved to be very popular. We’re glad to say they are coming back in a big way in 2022 so stay tuned for details.

The supply system did hamper travel a bit as the shortage of labor led to cancellations at many airlines. It was also very hard to find vehicle rentals especially in the uncommon vehicle categories such as vans, RV’s and luxury vehicles. We even had the unlucky chance of our car going into recall right before pick up.

Still, as vaccines became available to all, travel and events started to open up more which led us to finally take that trip on Virgin Voyages and visiting Atlanta for the first time.

As we move into 2022, travel will continue to evolve with each new variant and we’ll be here to help you navigate the rules for your trip. As always thank you for letting us plan your trip and we look forward to planning more in 2022.
